UNIV Courses

The Transition Resource Center offers programs to accommodate students during their entire academic career. There are courses for Freshmen, Sophomores, Juniors, and Seniors. Students interested in small discussion based or outdoor courses should inquire about our University 100, 200, 300 and 400 level classes.

Students enrolled in a University 100 course will learn not just from their instructors but also from their University 100 Peer Advisor. Peer Advisors co-teach the course while also planning special events and activities throughout the Fall semester. Past special events have included “Meet Dr. Merten,” Pancakes on the Park, “Pober in October,” resume writing workshops, and a Scavenger Hunt. The office also held the first annual University 100 Faculty & Peer Advisor Reception, where faculty and students were recognized for their contributions during the semester.
