Project Peak 2017 Registration Now Open!
2017 dates: Sunday, August 20 –
Thursday, August 24
Looking to meet other first-year Patriots? Want to sleep under the stars and roast marshmallows after a full day of fun in the outdoors kayaking, rock climbing, and more? This is the trip for you! Project Peak is a five-day, four-night outdoor excursion offered to first-year students of all experience levels. Come enjoy the outdoors, have fun, and meet Mason students, staff, and faculty on this one of a kind adventure. Your memories will last you a lifetime.
Project Peak is a two-phase Outdoor Extended Orientation offered to first-year Mason students. The first phase consists of a five-day wilderness adventure trip held the week before first semester begins. The second is a UNIV 108 class which meets throughout your first semester. Here you will build on the foundations that were laid during the trip and cover topics geared toward college success.
No experience is necessary to participate in Project Peak, only your quest for adventure, willingness to learn, and desire to have fun. Space is limited. If you have any questions, please call Center for Academic, Advising, Retention, and Transitions at 703-993-2470 or e-mail us at firstname.lastname@example.org. We look forward to hearing from you!
