Project Peak 2018 Registration will open in March!
2018 dates: Sunday, August 19 –
Thursday, August 23
Looking to meet other first-year Patriots? Want to sleep under the stars and roast marshmallows after a full day of fun in the outdoors kayaking, rock climbing, and more? This is the trip for you! Project Peak is a five-day, four-night outdoor excursion offered to first-year students of all experience levels. Come enjoy the outdoors, have fun, and meet Mason students and staff on this one-of-a-kind adventure. Your memories will last you a lifetime.
Project Peak is a two-phase Outdoor Extended Orientation offered to first-year Mason students. The first phase consists of a five-day wilderness adventure trip held the week before first semester begins. The second is a UNIV 108 class which meets throughout your first semester. Here you will build on the foundations that were laid during the trip and cover topics geared toward college success.
No experience is necessary to participate in Project Peak, only your quest for adventure, willingness to learn, and desire to have fun. Space is limited.
